I'm exploring the Pacific Northwest for about a week and I started off with two cold water dives yesterday. These were my first cold water dives and they were fantastic! The fauna is so different from what I saw in Hawaii. The most memorable parts of the dive were the towers of beautiful metridium anemones and the lingcod we found trying to feast on an octopus! The octopus was still alive and definitely fighting back, wrapping its arms though the gills of the lingcod. Please forgive my terrible videography, I'm still learning how to use my GoPro.
